Welcome to /lib's home
pageCongratulations, somehow you have made it to the home page of Bill Clarke.
I am a Postdoctoral Fellow in the CC-NUMA project (Computational Chemistry on Non-Uniform Memory-access Architectures), an ARC linkage grant with Sun Microsystems and Gaussian, Inc.
I am working on Sparc Sulima, a SPARC V9/UltraSPARC complete machine simulator. For more detail see my Sparc Sulima page.
Up until mid-March 2003, I was a Research Scientist in the CAP research program, a collaborative research program between the ANU and Fujitsu Labs. The CAP program is pretty much defunct, although I am continuing the work I was doing then.
In January 2001 I completed a Master of Philosophy specialising in Computer Science and Technology. My thesis was titled "Discovery and Classification of Variable Stars". For more detail see my masters page. I've moved my old and buggy thesistool.
I have a Bachelor of Engineering (2A honours) and a Bachelor of Science (Computer Science)from the ANU, which I finished in 1996. My major design project in Engineering was on Key-Based Parallel Adaptive Refinement for Finite Element Methods.
I play Ultimate Frisbee in the competitive league run by ACTUA: the Australian Capital Territory Ultimate Association.
In 2001 and 2002 I was vice-president and competition coordinator for the ANU Volleyball Club.
In 1999 was a general representative for and vice-president of PARSA: the ANU's Postgraduate and Research Students Association. I was RSISE rep in 1998.
